| Biggest Gripe - What is a Pain in the Ass about the software?
My personal opinion.. er.. bitch-session.
God I hate paying US$84.95 per month for EzRSSFeeds, I really want to find something that at least comes close to it and is a once-off charge rather than costing me a fortune monthly but it looks like the closest is Carp Evolution and it's a pain in my time-saving butt to configure, I just don't have the kind of time it requires to make the adjustments.
If you have another that you're happy with, please send in your recommendation! :) |
The price is reasonable, and I love the fact that one control panel can allow me to add to multiple websites.
Couldn't find many people still using it on their websites, even those listed in the tutorials.
I like this script, and the ease of use, but I just want more from it that the others provide.
The Amazon & Clickbank Scripts (which can be run separately) look pretty great though. |
The anchor text is the thing that I really love about this script except you can only add a maximum of 3 separate urls for just one keyword.. what's the point of that. I'd prefer to say any text that is "dog collars" links to my dog collar affiliate program.
You can only choose one keyword to highlight as well (the same keyword as above). What a waste of opportunity.
It can only use one RSS feed at a time. Boring. |
The Price is ridiculous... yet their features kick-ass over all the others, so damnit, I'll keep em until I can find something in the same league.
So Easy to use.
Love that it's impossible to tell that the content is from RSS feeds.
Would love to be able to link to keywords but at least you can bold or italicize multiple keywords depending on the site you're on.
For the price I'm paying, I want a support desk that is helpful, prompt, and damnit, I want the forum active. |
Although Carp is easy to install, it's bloody complicated to configure.
I want to have time to spend on other things rather than searching through forums and documentation to try and make a simple changes (that being said - I love that they actually give you the forums and documentations to search, unlike every other script!).
It's really close to ezRSSfeeds except the time-consuming configuring and you still have to go out and find your own feeds, I guess that's where ezRSSfeeds shits all over the competition and can demand a stupid price. |
